The Consortium for Assistive Technology Outcomes Research (CATOR) was established in 2001 to advance the field of assistive technology outcomes measurement.

CATOR’s overall mission is to conduct research on AT outcomes to improve the field’s ability to measure the impact of AT on the lives of people with disabilities.  CATOR strives to determine the effectiveness, usefulness, and implications for use/discontinuance of AT devices with the potential to supplement or supplant the instruments and techniques available to researchers, service providers, and policy makers.
